SPONSORED : Fitness Article review
As you may know, I am currently on a health kick. I'm trying new healthier foods(smoothies are a prime example) and I'm trying to fix exercise in wherever I can.
My exercise consists of running laps round the local park and I'm in the middle of the 30 day advance squat challenge (if any one wants a link to this I'll DM you it). All of this has led to me losing a stone, but for me its about strength and not weight.
I can feel my clothes are looser and my general endurance has improved. However I feel like my progress is slowly coming to a halt.
Therefore it is interesting that the following article was emailed to me - Beginners Fitness & Nutrition Guide: For Your Body Types . Its all about the basics - identifying your body type and the exercise that is most effective for it.
I read through the article and discovered that I am an Endomorph - although to me this isn't the worst thing in the world, I love my curves.
I love the fact that there is a tailor made training regime and one that I may use in the future (watch this space ;))
Upon reading the nutrition part of the article, I need to say the following - I personally have health problems, which stop me from cutting certain things out of my diet. I won't go into details just yet but I do get rather poorly without Meat and so forth.
However looking at it with unbiased eyes, it can look quite confusing at first - there's maths involved and I don't do great with that, but if you want to go the whole hog and diet as well I think that there is more than enough information to make a decent go of it.
I think this is one of those articles that you bookmark and keep referring back it, its a useful little bit of reading to help you on track.
I'll leave you with this quote that someone said to me "you don't have to be great to start but you have to start to be great". Lets all start getting closer to body confidence :)
