LIFESTYLE : My Top Five Christmas Movies (A Mini Haul!)
I hope that you have all enjoyed your weekend!
I have spent mine binge watching the Walking Dead and preparing for my impending Trip to Italy at the end of the month.
In fact, I am so prepared that I have already packed my case. I'm never normally this organised.
It's always a massive challenge with anxiety to plan a trip and to make sure that I have items around me that make me feel comfortable.
I think my main concern with this trip is the Cats. Even though it is only three days that I won't see them.
Sadly, there is someone hurting peoples pets in Northampton and I worry about them naturally being outside when we are away.
However, I think we have come up with a solution to keep them safe and happy!
So moving back to this weekend, there was a major gaming release in the week.
Yes Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are finally with us!
I'm playing Moon and Luke is playing sun, a reverse of last year
At the moment, there are only a few differences that I am actually noting. We have been promised more Pokemon and a retelling of the story, so we'll see how it goes!
But now on to the main point of the post.
I have decided that this year, I want everything to be as Christmassy as possible.
My favourite way to get into the mood is through Christmas Films... but I don't have ANY of them on Dvd.
So I went into HMV and they have a £20 for five deal on at the moment.
They are also in beautiful matching Gold boxes too.
As I stood there with all the classics staring at me.... I realised that I needed to start with my five favourites.
So in no particular order here they are:
Deck the Halls - Danny Devito wants his Christmas lights to be seen from space and at the same time wants to have better lights than his neighbour. Whats not to love?
Love Actually - There are so many good actors in it, and the stories are all lovingly intertwined. It always brings a smile to my face
Home Alone - I hadn't seen it until last year and it rocketed to the top of the list. Its got good humour and heart warming moments through out. I'm so glad that Luke convinced me to watch it.
Elf - Will Ferrell. As a giant Elf. Enough said.
How The Grinch Stole Christmas - Jim Carrey, Dressed a green grumpy creature that hates Christmas... there are so many classic moments but I think that I am at the age that I actually relate to the Grinch..... 4pm Wallow in self pity.... well I can't cancel that again!
Let me know if you love any of the films above or if you are playing Pokemon.... I'm curious to know what others think about it.
And as always,
Thanks for reading
