Showing posts from December, 2018

Hello Everyone,
I thought that I would write a little post of reflection towards the past year.
Here are my best nine of Instagram in 2018

So, I guess if we look at these, the main themes are Vegan Food, The new house, Cats and Dressing up like Pikachu
I think that because from August to December was stressful that I had forgotten about all the good that 2018 bought.
When I edited my best of 2018 video, I realised that I had been to The Peak district, Hastings, Chichester, London and Milton Keynes and various parts of Northampton all on adventures....

I'm glad to see the back of the year as I am so excited to see what 2019 could bring.
We currently have a blank canvas of a house and we cannot wait to make it in a comfy little Hideaway for us.
I'm looking forward to truly shutting the world away in our home and rediscovering myself for a bit.
I've set goals to try and get myself back to where I was five years ago, when I was more confident, more self sufficient and thinner …

Christmas and The Festive Period

Hello Everyone!
I hope that you all have had an amazing Christmas and are looking forward to the New year.
I thought that I would let you all know what we have been up to!

So obviously moving five days before Christmas was always going to be a little stressful.
But as I already had the festive period booked off,  I have had a couple of weeks to make our house into a home.

We are very aware that in purchasing our first home that its very much a marathon and not a sprint in finding forever furniture...
We also need to get carpets installed as quickly as we can as the house came without it.
But I think we have made a decent head start.

We managed to get the tree up before the big day so it felt festive in here.
On the big day itself, we stayed at home instead of going elsewhere which was a nice first for us.
We had a buffet instead of a big meal as we were still without vital Kitchen stuff.
It suited us as well as we were very tired and it was the first day that we stopped unpacking and all…

New Years Resolutions 2019 & January Goals

Hello Everyone!

I thought that as I had already decided on how I wanted to go into the new year in terms of goals, that  I would reveal them early.

As you all know, I am a massive fan of setting and trying to achieve goals throughout the month but due to having to shift my focus.... I neglected a couple of 2018's.
So its time to restart and recharge for 2019.
I will start with my New Years Resolutions / Yearly Goals

Luke and I moved into our first owned home in December so I wanted to have some goals that reflected doing up own new home.
I also wanted to try and improve our financial situation as we become responsible adults.
I recently uploaded a video in which I showed our move and a tour of the new house :

These Goals are as follows:
To be Overdraft free by June (without going into amounts)

To Carpet the house completely by 31st December 2019

To enjoy the house and to stay in more aka save some money!

To achieve proper savings by December 2019
I wanted to se…

We Did it!

Hello Everyone!
I am back after all the radio silence over the past month, but its all been worth it!
We have finally moved into our brand new shiny House.
Its time to say hello to No 27!

It wasn't an easy journey. There were alot of hoops to jump through and at times it felt impossible.
But I am so happy to say that we did it!

It was the best feeling in the world to say goodbye to the old flat as it became extremely hostile.
Alot of lessons were learned and I will write about this in the future.
I just want this post to be a happy one after feeling like I've held my breath since August.

Halfway through moving day we were joined by Boots and Diego, our resident Fluff Fluffs.

They have been busy finding their way around and making lots of mucky paw prints.
I can tell that they too are happy to be here as I noticed that their behaviour has majorly changed.

One of the first things to go up was the Christmas tree.
Its nice that we can finally have some decorations as we went up t…
