UPDATED Summer / Autumn Empties

Helloooooo everybody,

I hope that you have all had a great Saturday. I know that I have... I think I am still on a little high from yesterday's good news. We celebrated with a cheeky KFC because you know ....chicken

if you want to read more about it then you can do so on this link here

So on with today... I have finally sat down and have decided to write a post that I have been promising since the summer... my empties post.

I know that I have stated that I wait to use all of the product up before I put it on here, but I can only apologise that it has taken so long.

I think that because I intended to film it, the Youtube Hiatus meant that it kept getting pushed back and pushed back.

UPDATE : here is the Vlog

So as these are technically from both Summer and Autumn, I have titled the blog accordingly.

I shall be recording this also for the Channel so I will put a link up when this has been completed :)

Right so, my first product - or technically my first three - are different scents of Shower gel from the Body Shop. Pictured are Strawberry, Moringa and Pink Grapefruit. I kept all three as this is a good way to show you the deal that you can ALWAYS get on these products. If you like to bulk buy, like me, then you can get 3 for 9 pound.

I like these gels because the smell is really prominent and it is one that stays with you for the rest of the day. Also on a personal note, I love that they haven't been tested on animals. This is becoming a major consideration of mine, so when I can, I look for the animal cruelty free label.

There were three bottles sitting on a pillow... just three bottles la la la la la.....

Speaking of items that smell nice. The next product is what is becoming my favourite perfume.  Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel. This was bought for me for one of my birthdays, and I find that it is a scent that you can wear for any occasion or for just round the house.

I always get complimented when I wear it. I suppose the only downside is the price. It is one of the more expensive ones. But I honestly think that for the staying time of the scent, it is more than worth it.

Sadly, I lost the top so I couldn't photograph it.

Sorry Ms Knightly, this bottle is mine

The next two products are the Coconut Water Shampoo and conditioner by OGX.  This was the first time that I have ever used this product so I was excited to give it a go.

I was left a little disappointed, whereas my hair was shiny and smelt amazing, my scalp became really itchy. This was to quite a bad extent, therefore I never repurchased the product.

I'm not sure if this has happened to anyone else or it is just me...

That holiday island smell....

Next product is one for the home. This is the Jasmine Candle by the Body shop.  I picked this up as I love the smells of the general body products so I figured that the smell from the candle would not disappoint. I was happy to be proved right. The smell from the candle was great enough that I could smell it on the other side of the flat.

The only down side is that the Wick seemed to go rather quickly - I mean you can see from the picture how much is left. However this isn't too much of a problem as I am going to convert the candle into Wax burners

You can read more about this process on this previous blog post here

My candle addiction is getting a little excessive

Another Shampoo product next... Tresemme Keratin Smooth.

This is my god send of a shampoo, I know that whatever state it gets into that this shampoo will make it soft and smooth again. I usually team it with the conditioner and the match hair mask (once a week). I find that my hair gets a little life back into it and that it looks really healthy.

The smell of this one is really nice

I thought that I would feature the below product as I always feature my bath bombs but never what I use day to day. I know that with the prices of bombs, that not everyone, including myself can afford to use them everyday.

This is the Radox Relax bubble bath. It has tones of Lavender which always chill me out. I also love that this product is on the lower end of the cost bracket. It does the job really nicely and always fills the bathroom with a nice scent.

Normally this would be filled with a nice purple lotion....

Finally, last but not least, my major vice : Nail Varnish. I get through a lot of nail varnish, but then again I wear it everyday without fail, so I figure that it is a good investment.

On the left is Barry M's Matte Nail paint in Light blue. Whenever I show this on the channel and on here, I always get asked what I am wearing. It's a nice little colour that is eye-catching however my only advice would be to make sure that you always wear a clear top layer. Its not designed to be on it's own and it quite weak.

On the right is No 5s Glitter varnish from last year's Christmas promotion. This one is pretty but its a nightmare to actually wear. Its little individual pieces of gold glitter so the brush get clogged up pretty quickly. Also the flakes of varnish come off really quickly from your nail, even with an over coat.

The best place I find to wear it is on toe nails.... it will last a whole week there rather that the day you get on your hands. I'm not too mad about the situation as I got it for free :)

Glitter can be beautiful but annoying

So thats it for now.

Let me know what you think or if you have used any of them.

I'm currently using the OGX shampoo on its own and I'm loving it. It's so interesting to see how everyone reacts differently to it.

I never used the Body Shop shower gels but now you made them so appealing XD :D

And I totally agree that glitter can be annoying, them polishes are so lovely but none seem to be long lasting :/
