A return to Hideaway / Dissertation Station the Finale
Hello lovely people,
I have returned after an 11 day break!
In this time there has been some changes in my life that I am now ready to share with you all.
Firstly, I have finally finally finally got a new car. My new car, Bowie, is a Renault Clio and its feels incredible to have a car that does not do any of the following: Squeak, not start, self accelerate, rev very loudly.
Welcome to the family Bowie:
Secondly, you may have noticed that there is a new profile image for this blog and all over the social media channels.
I decided that it was way due for an update!
Let me know what you think ;)
Next update, I've fallen back in love with reading. Now that I don't have to read of University anymore, I have decided to end my day with a nice book. Therefore I shall also be adding book reviews to the book and the monthly favourites posts:
I am starting with Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Next update - I have lots planned for the blog, Starting with the Lush mystery tin ;)
I would whats inside ooh.....
And finally , the biggest life update, I'VE FINISHED MY MASTERS DEGREE AT UNIVERSITY.
I'm so happy, two and a half year is over, bringing my six years at the University of Northampton to an end and twenty years in education to the end.
It's a rather bittersweet time for me. I love learning new stuff, but I think that its time to say goodbye. I would like to complete a PHD but I don't plan to do this for a couple of years.
It's weird because I have always had a plan for my life and this is the first time that I have ever just gone with it. I feel like a weight has been lifted, but I know that I will miss it.
It's time to grow up, time to get my own home, travel and potientally move abroad.
But before I say goodbye to this chapter in my life, I thought that I would round up my dissertation station posts.
I started writing these posts at the start of the blog, in May.
If you read them all, then you will see my journey and how my attitude changes. Writing a dissertation is hard work, I pulled four all nighters in a row. I felt as though I was drunk when I handed it in but its the best feeling in the world. I had my cat sit on my shoulder for alot of it.
I have learnt so many things from my time at uni, but one of the best thing is the passion for blogging!
Even if I don't pass, I'm glad to say that I finished.
So just a little catch up post before normal writing and filming resumes.
I'm currently catching up with comments and emails
I hope that you are having a great day ;)
Let me know what you are up to!
