Big Life Announcement and my Feb / March Lifestyle Favs!

Hello lovely people,

Here we are, another Sunday Afternoon watching Soaps and updating the Blog's Social media pages.

Luke and I have just returned from a lovely little 5 k run / Hike through a local abbey's grounds.

I'm starting to really enjoy the training and this run was more of an adventure as we were not sure how far the grounds went. Because of this, I wasn't thinking about the run and the strain on my legs.

Its good because due to the enjoyment I managed to go further.

Luke couldn't help but take a little posing break.....

What I have also realised is that I've really regretted neglecting the Blog's Facebook and Tumblr Pages, so I have made sure that all content gets shared on them.

So I've decided to make a mid year resolution and I'm determined to stick to it.

Also, I thought that before I started the main bulk of this post, that I would also take the time to mention a massive event that has left Luke and I smiling all weekend.

On Friday, we were told that we could move into a nicer flat. It's even got a Garden. We are so happy because, to be honest, it has been nothing but misery since we moved in here. We have had floods , everything broken in every room and fights to get everything repaired.

It feels like a huge weight has been lifted. Despite the fact that it appears to be a little bit smaller, we honestly don't mind because you can't put a price on happiness.

It also means that we can start saving for our mortgage and that we can get there a little bit quicker.

Anyway...... BEFORE I get carried away too much, it is time to actually get to the main point of this post......

My February and March  Lifestyle Favourites.....

I've decided to split the favs as otherwise this post will be a great big essay!

Favourite Music

So my favourite music for these two months is tied between two artists.

These artists aren't really that mainstream but you really need to take the time to check them out. I think that one day, they will both be huge throughout the world (or at least I hope they will be)

The first is Scottish Singer - Songwriter Nina Nesbitt. She has just realised an EP called Modern Love... I have followed her since her youtube days.

MY favourite song off of the new EP is a song called Chewing Gum, its about being young and about going through various relationships. The lyrics are deeply written for someone of a younger age, as are most of her songs.

You can check it out here:

I also have rediscovered Måns Zelmerlöw.

He is the Swedish singer- songwriter that won the eurovision in 2015 with the song Heroes.

I started relistening to his album Perfectly Damaged over the past couple of weeks.

I rediscovered the little gem of 'Should have gone home' - its about the regret of cheating a person that you are in love with. Its a classic dance - pop number that has alot of meaning behind it. I recently started to listen to it as I go running. If you like the song, then it is well with checking out the rest of the album.

Check it out below:

Favourite Movie:

This 100% belongs to Deadpool. If you are under 15/ 17 in the US, you need to skip this section immediately.

I was really excited for this film to come out because its been about 10 years in the making. I wasn't disappointed, Ryan Reynolds is born to play the role. I'm not going to go into the plot too much as I don't want to ruin it BUT everything down to the soundtrack is spot on.....

Favourite TV show.

This is 100% is Peep Show. I just finished watching the final series yesterday. I have loved this show ever since it first appearered like nine years ago.

The plot is simple, its about two friends living together in a flat in London, one is posh and uptight and the other is a lazy layabout that would rather take drugs then do anything constructive.

It literally is the most British thing that I have ever since and I've included a clip below for your viewing pleasure

(it contains drugs so viewer discretion is advised)

Favourite game:

This has been a close race between  Far Cry Primal and Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2.

But after careful deliberation.... I have decided to go for PVZ! (I'm going to make FCP the feature of next month haha )

In a nutshell,  PVZ is an ONLINE multiplayer game, in which you are either on the side of the Plants (and their leader Crazy Dave) or the Zombies (and their leader Dr Zomboss).

Now this game, I believe was aimed at children (I am 24 as I write this) however it has gained such a following with adults that it has made big kids of us all!

( I would advise that if you all letting you kids play this online that you monitor the multiplayer mode as their does tend to be alot of swearing (however you can mute all the other players to get around this))

I play this, as does my partner, and I'm not sure which elements make it so addictive but I love it alot. In this new version, there is now a mode in which you have your own base, you can do missions and customise the base itself.

There are also additional characters on each side.... my favourites are the Orange and the Super Brainz.

Its well worth an investment, its good to kill a couple of hours without requiring much brain engagement and the best part is that they are always updating it so there is always new stuff to look out for :)

So if you are still with me... I hope that you enjoyed this post.... let me know what you think.

The Beauty and fashion favourite will be posted either tomorrow or Tuesday.

Let me know what you think to the above and what you are loving : )
