LIFESTYLE AND GAMING : New Furniture and Current Gaming Collection

Hello everyone,

I hope that you are all enjoying your weekend,  I have been chilling out and watching a tonne of movies.

I was really excited to come back from work yesterday because I had a little delivery waiting for me from Habitat!

I had decided that all my games needed their own space.... I have alot of them and they had taken over my my lovely bookcase and sadly my books were suffering on the floor.

So..... I decided to get a slim bookcase to fill a gap in my bedroom. Something simple and dainty and that led to the below.....

It kinda looks like a ladder and its a leaning bookcase (which can be secured to the wall) and it fits so nicely with the white Ikea furniture that I bought in the summer.

I thought that I would take the rest of the post to talk about my current gaming collection,  as I get asked alot about it....

So starting from the top shelf.... The PS4 games!  This collection is growing as we only got the console last year and I hadn't owned a Playstation since the one.

But I have still managed to buy four different lego games and two different Tomb Raider games haha

The next shelf down is the Nintendo shelf.... we only got the Wii U in November, but we obviously have Mario Kart 8 and sadly for Luke, I'm not easy to beat (he's been practising).

I have had every model Gameboy and Nintendo DS since they came out... I have a little fake Rubbish Bin full of old gameboy games. I will get these out in a later Retro post.

As you can tell however - Seven of the below games are Pokemon!

(you can click on the pictures to enlarge them)

The bottom two shelfs are dedicated to my gaming loves , The Xbox, Xbox 360 and Xbox one....

I have the original console under my bed so I haven't parted with any of my favourite games... it's like going back to an old teddy bear as gaming was something that really helped me through some tough times when I was growing up.

I have tried to keep all the different versions of the games below that are in the same series.

For Example, I have all five Halo games, the original Star Wars Battlefront 1 and 2 and the new one.

Six lego games (I'm starting to realise that I might have a slight obsession) amongst others.

I also have the Fable series and Spyro and the imfamous Simpsons hit and run!

There are also at least 30 or so on the actual Xbox one console itself....

I want to do a whole post about my favourite retro games later in the month, but I thought I would give you a brief overview of what I am currently rocking.

PC Games are not featured as they are all on steam and Origin.

I hope you enjoy posts like this as I love showing you a little bit more of me!

Thanks for reading and I'll see you soon!
