Christmas and The Festive Period

Hello Everyone!

I hope that you all have had an amazing Christmas and are looking forward to the New year.

I thought that I would let you all know what we have been up to!

So obviously moving five days before Christmas was always going to be a little stressful.

But as I already had the festive period booked off,  I have had a couple of weeks to make our house into a home.

We are very aware that in purchasing our first home that its very much a marathon and not a sprint in finding forever furniture...

We also need to get carpets installed as quickly as we can as the house came without it.

But I think we have made a decent head start.

We managed to get the tree up before the big day so it felt festive in here.

On the big day itself, we stayed at home instead of going elsewhere which was a nice first for us.

We had a buffet instead of a big meal as we were still without vital Kitchen stuff.

It suited us as well as we were very tired and it was the first day that we stopped unpacking and allowed ourselves to relax.

My Christmas desert was actually something that I had been craving for ages.

A bowl of Alpro Yoghurt, Granola and Lots of Fruit.

I think I had a couple of peaches, Plums, Grapes and a banana.

I had been eating fast food for about a month before we moved so my body was craving the good stuff.

I also had a lovely Christmas bath in which I enjoyed the two products:

The first one on the left was the Oh K! Cleansing bubble Face mask.

I had never experienced a bubble mask before, but I enjoyed watching it bubble and bubble away.

My skin was lovely and smooth when it came off.

I also used the Percy and Reed Hydrating Mask on my hair. I've found that due to the stress of moving that my hair suffered too. It became brittle and limp.

So I am trying to use products that will try and return it to its previous state. I am already a massive fan of their overnight treatments as you may already know.

I am also ensuring that I remember to take my supplements that target hair and nails.

I am currently taking the Wellwoman Tablets designed for Vegans

We've found that Diego and Boots are loving the new space!

Other mentionable food mentions:

So for a couple of weeks I was without a kitchen so I found myself eating out alot.

The one place that I seem to keep going back to is Wagamamas.... I love that there is a substantial Vegan and Vegetarian menu.

So tasty!

That being said I am very much enjoying cooking and baking once again.

Today I made a pear and a Plum Crumble... I basically wanted to use up the fruit bowl.

And finally, Entertainment.

We only got our internet back yesterday - up until that point I was using the data on my phone, which I'm sure I'm going to really regret at the end of January....

But it has meant that I could try and catch up and free up my virgin box before it goes back in January.

One film that I fell in love with my Neighbour Totoro.

I've always wanted to work my way through the Studio Ghibli films so this seemed like a good opportunity as any.

And finally. we got the chance to go to the Pantomime last night at the Royal and Derngate in Northampton.

I don't think that I have truly laughed that much in about three years. I really enjoyed it.

Going to the Theatre is something that Luke and I really enjoy. So we have already booked to go back in February!

So thats it for now, Let me know what you've been up to!
