January '20 Birchbox - Birchbox x Rochelle Humes

Hello Everyone!

It's time for a Beauty review!

So as you know, I love a cheeky sub box and one that I have been signed up to for a couple of years is Birchbox.

I find that the price isn't extortionate and the selection of products that I get is enough to keep me interested.  Since moving house I have been reviewing my purchases and working out what items I truly enjoy.

I'm glad to say that this made the list!

The box has been made in Collaboration with The Saturdays singer and Presenter Rochelle Humes.

I love her style and her voice is amazing so I'm girl crushing a little.

(All photography has been loving done by Luke Bowers Photography - I will link him below)

The Box itself is light pink with a gold design.

I will review the items one by one starting with:

A Jade Roller by Mélusine

When this item was teased on the Birchbox's instagram I was quite looking forward to trying it out.

It's designed to help with skin issues such as redness - which I suffer with.

I also found that it is super useful when you feel a headache forming.

I will give it a proper try and let you know if it helps.

I have to say it got a couple of curious looks in the office when I opened it up and took it for a whirl.

Greenfrog Botanic's Argan Body Lotion

It's definitely that time of the year when my skin suffers due to the weather so getting skin products is always a hit with me.

I did a little test patch and I have to say I love the smell - it smells really sweet. It's also not sticky.

The product is vegan and cruelty free - so thats a massive tick for the product.

The Beauty Crop's Glow Milk

When I opened the box, I was immediately drawn to this product as its a tiny carton of milk with a smiley face on the side.

I must admit that I haven't been using highlighters recently, I used to love the effect they had on my cheekbones, so hopefully this product will encourage me to continue.

I normally use powders so it will be interesting to see what effect the liquid has in comparison.

I did a little swatch of the shade I was sent below

The shade above is 'Just Dew It'

Again this product is Vegan and Cruelty free.

Phillip Kingsley's Moisture Balancing Conditioner

The second thing to suffer in the winter is definitely my hair.

I find it feel really heavy and becomes brittle and I've been going through my regular conditioner like there's no tomorrow. So to be sent a new one to try is a real treat - Especially as I am currently into swimming so my poor hair needs a treat.

It smells quite fresh? (if thats the word - it smells clean...)

Upon investigation I have found that this product is Cruelty free - you'd think that they would want to brag about this on the bottle...

Watch this space, I'll let you know how it goes!

Vasanti Brighten Up! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator

The second skin product but this time an exfoliator.  I used to lecture on this blog and on the channel, the importance of using this type of product and then stopped doing it.

I really need to get my skin reunite back in back, especially now as its winter.

On the package it says that it is suitable for all skin types and to use it 3-5 times a week.

So I will incorporate it in and let you know.

This product is Vegan and Cruelty free!

So that completes the list of sent products - I will review them and put them into the upcoming empties post at the end of the month.

There will be two further unboxing posts this month as I will receive the last ever two boxes from Marzia :(
