A Review of Coffee Talk (Xbox Game with Gold)

 Hiya Everyone,

I hope that you are all ok!

I thought that it might be fun to write a review of a game that I recently enjoyed and completed on Twitch (and it's also on the Gaming Youtube Channel) called Coffee Talk.

I downloaded this Game last month as part of the Monthly perk that Xbox Live users have called Games with Gold.

I have to admit I do think that Playstation offer a better selection of Games each month but this one took me by surprise.

I had no idea what time of game it was before I played it.

Described as a Graphic Novel ....The game is set in Seattle, and you are the owner of a Coffee Shop that only opens at night for the people that need somewhere to go.

However the world is populated by Humans and Non humans (so through out the game you encounter Werewolves, Vampires, Succubus, Elves, One Alien and a family of people that can turn into Cats!

But there is no threat level to the game, it literally is all just talking and making the odd coffee. So if you want action and fast pace... this is not for you at all.

If you are into cozy atmospheres, lofi hip hop beats, a rich story and humour... then give it a go.

It was the kind of game that I could have a hot cup of coffee and play in front of the fire under a blanket.

You cannot influence the story lines apart from four key events, if you do them right, one of the characters seems to break the fourth wall and talk to you directly - it also influences the ending.

The main themes of the game are prejudice (within a monster's world), father- Daughter relationships, Love, a passion for Writing and learning to get to know and trust people.

Plus you can practise your Latte Art!

I would like to live inside this game, however aside from getting the trophies, I don't think I will replay this game... it's shown all that it has to offer.

In total you are looking at 5-6 hours game play and an endless mode unlocked once you get to a certain point in the game.

Below are the parts of the game that I filmed:

Thank you for reading as always - I'm getting through alot of games at the moment, so I thought it might be nice to share some of them with you... as the world is scary out there at the moment.

For those who don't know... I have a Gaming Channel on YouTube called Hideaway Gaming and a Twitch Channel called Hideaway Games :)

Any way, thats it for now.
