April Goals 2021

 Hello Everyone! 

I hope that you are all ok! 

It's time to come back to the blog! 

I've had a few changes in my life that I feel have greatly benefitted my personal life ( I will write another post about this) 

But in a nutshell, life is good. 

This is the first time that I have sat down to really consider my goals as lockdown eases. 

There is a sense that I want to take back my mind, body and soul after this year of pure worry and terror.

So with this in mind, here are my goals. 

(some are tiny personal goals that I have held back - the ones below will be filmed for the Youtube channel later this month) 

1) To Finish Two books.

The first goal that I want to complete is to kick start a reading revolution. I wanted to read 12 books this year at least... so to achieve this I better get reading. 

I have started a 'Hideaway Reading club' so watch my Twitter, see what I'm reading and how I'm doing. 

The First book is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. 

2) To Focus on my new job and to create a healthy work-life balance. 

I want to hit the ground running in my new job and give it everything I have but with one exception 

I'll write more in-depth on this subject in the next post. But, in my new job, I need to ensure that I just work the time that I am paid for. In my old one, I wasn't taking breaks, having lunches and was working late into the afternoon/ evening. 

This goal is here to remind me to make myself a priority.

3) To be strict with Meal Prep. 

Meal prepping has been a good time saver for Luke and me the past couple of weeks. It's just the effort of batch cooking the food when it arrives.

We batch cook our lunch so that it's one less thing to worry about.

4) To catch up with all my Uni reading 

Really proud to say that I am currently a straight-A student. But I am a little behind due to the craziness of the past month. So this goal is here to encourage me to put some of that time that I've taken back and to channel it back into study :) 

5) To Go back to the gym on a Monday, Friday and Sunday (at Least)

The gym reopens on Monday so I fully intend to go back and work on my body. 

I want to strengthen myself and hopefully be able to do a pullup by the end of the year. 

I'm starting with 3 days cos I don't want to go too crazy. 

6)Restarting and maintaining my Hobbies 

Finally,  I thought I would put some mini goals all in one place. 

They are 

a) To make a dent in my Gaming channel queue - I have ALOT of old streams from Twitch to edit 
b) To restart my blog posts on here 
c)To film for Hideaway Blogging once again 
d) To film exclusive Gaming content for Youtube 


So, those are the goals. 

I'm confident I can get them all going and achieve them :)
